Exemplifying Stratified Deforestation in Four Protected Areas in Madagascar

Protected areas (PAs) are a cornerstone for conservation biodiversity. Madagascar, as hotspot biodiversity, has network of 114 terrestrial protected covering the main forest types occurring on island. Deforestation continues unabated despite 11% Here we present case study approach reporting four PAs from humid forests, dry western and southwestern spiny forests thickets.
